XXV (Fighter) Squadron
disbanded on April 4th 2008. A poignant day for all who have served on
this great squadron. Formed on the
25th September 1915, the Squadron has 92 years of operational service in
the defence of the United Kingdom and its interests. It is hoped that
XXV Squadron will be reformed at some time in the future and the
Squadron will once again take its place in the defence of the United
Kingdom.

Tony Preston, crew driver at 25
Squadron
Sad to inform Members of the Sqn Association that Tony Preston
Crew Driver for the Sqn along side Frankie for many years, even up until
the end of the Sqn, has sadly passed away at home aged just 49. Tony's
funeral will be held at the All Saints Church, Northallerton on Wed 10th
February at 13:30.
