I am trying to confirm that 25 sqdn was at West Malling 1955,56&57 I was posted there to work on GCA CPN4 radar 25 sqdn was opposite. Meteor WS726 pic seems to show CPN4 at tail.

My brother, Pete McNamara (aka M2) served on 25 Sqn - F3 Pilot. Then on 100 Sqn
Sadly, he recently died after a tough battle
If anyone has any photos of him/anything linked to him - could I have/buy these?

Alan was my Dad he was everywhere with the RAF from Trans Jordan, (with flying pig) Germany AT Gielers and cyprus Aki and nicosia last rank CPL, sadly lost him last year, anybody know the old man would love to speak to you

I served on the squadron from 1989 until 1992 as the Docs Controller.
I past Leeming on 21.12.08 following a pilgrimage to Lockerbie and stopped at the pub at Leeming Bar where I found out the unit had disbanded.

Came across this site, which threw my memory banks into haywire. Served at RAF North Coates Cpl/Tech on consoles, did the original course at RRE Malvern. Sadly left to progress on to Bloodhound Mk2.

I was with 25 Squadron from their move to RAF West Rahnham in 1968/9, through a 3-year tour at RAF Bruggen (1970-'73) and then back at RAF West Raynham until 1975, primarily as a Tech Sup

I was a young airman posted to RAF North Coates in 1964. I worked on 25sqn in the role of a "Sideloader" driver for just over a year before being posted to Aden. Sorry cannot remember any names from the sqn, but perhaps somebody knows me.

Am interested in Flt Lt Bull 25 Sqn died 08th August 1940. Was he one of two Blenheim's shot down by a Hurricane, as per Sqn history?

I was on North Coates Supply Squadron then asigned to 25SAM Supply 1968/69 with W/o Roberts & Sgt Fawdry. I did the Tech for the Drama club in the old cinema in them days.I met Mike Grogan from Station W/shops living here in Darlington.

I was an air radar fitter @ westmalling at time of Sgt.Toop andF/Sgt Wilshire during 1955/56.Went with Sqdn to RAF Acklington and St.Mawgan then posted to RAF Pembrey where A21 was unknown.Understand 25 is to be disbanded this year-great pity.

I was part of the Team who trained at B.A.C.Filton on the Bloodhound Mk2 1962/1963.We were next door to 25 Sqd at North Coates as (17.JSTU) I would like to contact any of yhe old team.I served as an Armourer ex Sgt.

L8100133 SAC Wilson TG12 Aerospace Systems Operator. I served with Operations HQ 25 Sqn (Bloodhound)at RAF Bruggen from January 1975 to June 1977. A great 21/2 year posting.

I joined 25 Squadron 1947 at R.A.F Westmalling.as a/ch group 2 Electrician and I was never happier than having completed the Daily Inspections I would get my chute and scrounge a flight in those Mosquito's especially on airfiring at Acklington.

I served as a Bloodhound Engagement Controlier (EC) from 1988 until the squadron re-equiped with the F3. As B Flt we were situated at RAF Wyton together with the HQ Staff. This was one of the happiest times of my 37 years service.

Converted to QBL2 LCP in '68. Tours in Germany and Cyprus. Left in'76 to join DEC(now HP).Still in I.T. and moving to Cyprus to live in 2008.Remember noisy generators and sealing T87 crates with Black tape? Wish you all well... elkin_tony@yahoo.co.uk

I know that Wg Cdr SNL Maude was killed in an aircrash at Ankara Turkey in August 1949. I have no other information

My first posting after joining the RAF in November 1964 was with the squadron at RAF North Cotes. Worked in the MT section in the primary role of "Sideloader" operator.

Nice to hear from Jim Walton. My boss was S/L Ted King at Waterbeach. I remember Jim being thrown in the pool at the Roundel Club Nicosia. Good wishes to ex-25ers.
